Gentlemen,

This should be an easy one.  I have to wire the mute line from a Motorola 1000 bluetooth kit to a factory non-bose headunit.  It's an 06 Altima and I can't locate info on what slot on the radio harness will serve this function.  Thanks in advance.

there is no mute on that radio, your next best choice is to wire a relay to interrupt the ignition (ACC) at the radio. this way when call come in it will turn radio off.

Mute wire from motorola to pin 85, pin 86 12v, pin 30 away from radio, pin 87a to radio.

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.

You need to check the current capacity of the mute output of the Motorola device, I have seen many Bluetooth pieces that will not trigger a relay.  If this is the case for your device, there is a simple fix that will give you enough current to trip the relay.  Only costs a couple dollars and is available at Radio Shack.  let me know if this will help you.
