Hey Guys- is it normal for the viper 5901 remote to die in about 2 weeks or less then i have to recharge it asap because it continues to say low batt on it.

How long does everyone remote battery last? This is the rechargeable one too! I thought it was suppose to last longer then a battery. Any ideas?

did you charge it completely when you first got it? if you did not charge it at first and used it until it went dead and then tried to charge it back to full you could have messed up the battery life. lithium ion batteries do this sometimes

No i charged it full the first time- im pretty good with batteries. Ive had R/C cars all my life and know the background on ni-mh and lithium batteries. Its really weird its no tlike the battery goes low slowly and have time to recharge it. No its like its on full battery for 10 days and the 11th day its saying low batt and ready to die. So i dont get it. But im gotta wait another 10 days on this charge since i used a different charger.

It should be under warranty if purchased and installed by an authorized dealer.

Well considering i bought it online NEW and and i installed it myself that its not really under warranty. All i need is a battery replaced- the number on the battery is not really helping me.

Any one have any resources for a battery?
