I'm installing a R/S in a 2005 Lexus ES330. I have the 555XW from Directed to bypass the immobilizer.

Is there a way to use the factory key fob to activate the remote start? Like pressing the LOCK button multiple times?

Thanks for any info.

Yes.

It depends on what RS you are using. Some have an activation wire, some only work with a separate remote...

It's a stand alone Viper R/S. Don't all of the remote starts have the blue "activation" wire even if it's not needed?

Which wire would I need to find in the car to work with the factory key fob? If the person needs to buy a stand alone R/S they will, and use the one they currently have in another car.
