I have a 1997 Chevy Tahoe With a Compustarr 2WSSR. The installer stated that my siren output is not working. He managed to get the horn to sound when the alarm is triggered. Is there a way to still get the siren to sound since he was able to get the horn to sound?

the siren will need to be replaced because since he used the same output with the horn then the actual trigger from the alarm is working.  Did the installer provide the alarm?

Well keep in mind that pressing button 1 plus 2 on your remote will mute the siren on lock and unlock. There is a seperate wire for horn honk.

Im thinking that one of the wires to the alarm  may have touched the metal on the truck. If the horn is able to trigger then the siren should still go off. Or is that not the case.
