alright, if i get 2 subs that are 1200 rms each, can I hook them both to a 2600 watt mono block amp?...

I have a similar ? I'm getting 2 12s rated over 1000 watts each! Should I get a 2000 w 2 channel or is a 2000w class d mono a better idea? All the specs are rms watts!
