We do a lot of these cars and I am asking what bypass are you guys using.
We have done the following
PKUGM2X (discontinued)
then we used PKUCG2x, work fine but now they want you to run resistors to the ign and accessory wires or the vehicle will throw a code when it goes into the dealer.
Has anyone had luck with another kit? I am thinking about order an Idatalink kit to see how it works?
Whats your best bet?

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.

Everything I've heard is that an aftermarket Circle Plus key (from howardkeys.com or hlflake.com) and a universal bypass box is the least expensive solution.
I don't wire the resistors on the white wire either. I connect only Ignition and Accessory.
The remote starter will work fine, with no check engine lights. It's true, however, that some codes will be stored in the car's computer. If something in the future goes wrong with the car, it is possible that the dealer will try to blame you for it, but I've only seen it once.
