What are you wanting? SPL, it looks like. IMO, no, it's NOT a good setup, but yeah, I'd say it would be loud. Nothing ELSE, (meaning zero sound quality) but loud, yes.
Brutus... high-end garbage.
MoFos... swap-o-rama mid-fi - if even that good!
Now, that being said, does it sound good to you? Does it sound like it WILL sound good to you? Knowing what your desired results are, I am sure my system would sound like crap yo you, as well! I've got 2200 watts in my system, and only 1000 on the sub - and it's only a single 10". Such a loaded question, (and that's also not a "setup"... it's a sub system. A "setup", to me, means a FULL system, not just woofers and amps) and you are going to get 100 different opinions from 100 different people.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Ummm... OLD brutus, maybe. New stuff? Garbage. Seriously, man!
HiFonics has never been even REMOTELY an audiophile name.
Oh, and what should you change? Your alternator, because there is no WAY a stocker 87 Chevy alternator will power those amps correctly. Even though I am not a fan, they still have to have current to perform <cough> at their best. </cough>

i agree that you will probably need to upgrade your alternator to have enough power for both of those amps to run at full potential. but as far as how it will sound, no one can predict how it will sound because there are just too many variables to consider. if it sounds good to you it doesn't matter what we think.

who would be stupid enough to make "fake hifonics" amps? they are already a pawnshop staple. just because it works doesn't make it quality equipment. i had a hifonics amp once, and then i switched to the autotek i still have today, and even though they are made by the same company i am far more impressed by the autotek than my cheap, pawnshop, hifonics amp. and to be completely truthful, the amount of power you have running through your subs is the least important factor when it comes to posting big numbers.
