Hey,

I have to connect a DEI 507M tilt sensor to an Autostart 2way alarm. The wire names are not matching with the ones on my alarm. So since I'm not a pro and don't want to make mistakes, I'm just asking you guys if you can tell me which wire connects togheter. I leave you the 2 diagrams to make life easier! Thanks

Wire it in series with the shock sensor, if three wire, join green and blue together,  diodes in green and blue, bands towards sensor. I would strongly advise not using it, they false constantly.

If you're looking for a home security system you should check out www.usalarmcompanies.info . They give you a free comparison of the various home alarm system providers in the US and you can choose one based on the size of your home, your requirements, budget etc.

Mods need to delete the above post and delete the account. It has nothing to do with 12volt and is advertising.
Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.

Howie, I've got a 507M on my car and never had it false yet. I cut both the white and black loops so it is less sensitive though, and doesn't arm as quick. I jacked up the car while armed and it goes off just before the tires leave the ground no matter where I jack it up from... I'll have to reconnect the black and see if that makes it false at all some time to check it out...

Is there a better unit or suggestion to use to protect my rims from being stolen?
