red(constant), yellow(switched), and black(ground)....Everything else is technically optional... But green and blue are you lock and unlocks, it'll have a white wire for your parking light output, and siren output(I just went blank on whatever color wire that is... )

Ok, Mandatory for it do do anything at all: Constant power Ground Antenna (most systems won't work at all without the antenna plugged in) ------------------------------ Other things that I'd have to call "required" to at least get it to work satisfactorily Ignition (needed for entering into programming mode, replacing lost remotes, and so alarm can't arm while driving.) Door trigger input (so alarm goes off when someone opens a door) Install siren, or connect horn output to car horn (so alarm sounds when violated) -------------------------------- Optional but desirable: Parking lights (flash lights when alarm is violated) Trunk trigger (alarm sounds when trunk is opened) Shock sensor (alarm sounds when car receives impact. Mount in convenient spot to re-adjust later if necessary) Warning LED (advise thieves that car has alarm) Valet switch (needed to disable alarm if remote gets lost/broken) Starter kill (car can't be started when alarm is armed) --------------- Not necessary if you don't want remote start: Tachometer Brake Hood pinswitch (although you might want a hoodpin just to trigger the alarm if a thief opens it) Neutral safety wire Accessory wire(s) Ignition 2 Suggestion: Maybe you want to at least run the respective wires for remote start to their approximate locations in the car, and tape them up, in case you decide to tackle it later on.
