wat's up guys, i have a problem, did an install on a subaru impreza, japan import, i don't have the year off hand, as soon as i do i'll post,  here's the thing, did a remote starter alarm install, 791xv, didn't even touch the navigation sysytem, when i'm finished, everything went smoothly, no hassle as i'm familiar with subies, the thing is the navigation comes on, accepts the cd's but nothing else happens, it just remains on no other display except the main menu, the radio won't even come on,  it's an eclipse system, it came with the car when it was imported, i don't have the model, i'll get all the info and post back, but any general ideas, the only thing out of the ordinary i did was, remove the negative of the battery to connect some power wires and that was it. any help would be appreciated, i know i don't have the year of the car or the model of equipment, but any general suggestions would be welcome, until i can post back when the customer gives me the info.

If the player lost power at anytime, the system goes into security mode. YOu must insert the unlock CD into the player to unlock the system. You only have 6 chances otherwise it goes into dealer lockout mode. It's called ESN and you can't bypass it other than getting a master unlock code from Eclipse but it has to be the registed owner of the unit.
