I ainstalled a viper 5900 in my lincoln ls and it false alarming do to the door trigger. I was reading on audiovoxes site and it states under door trigger a BLACK/ light blue (-) wire then it says light 12vts thru 10k resistor to hot side not sure what that means can someone clarify. I know that the issue most likely has to do with the body control module going in to sleep mode. was trying to avoid the relay route to avoid the clicking when the courtesy lamp is fading. Any help would be appreiciated

this is what I got from Mobile Electronics magazine
    • Door Trigger – also turns
    • on the dome light. Use a
    • 10k resistor — one side to
    • 12V+; the otherside to the
    • door trigger wire — to
    • prevent falsing.

Does this make any sense, Anyone tried this.
