530t w/ python 990
kia optima 01 v6
Now here is the issue, when ever im on the freeway the windows seem to just stop working, when the car is stopped or at a lower speed, the windows come back to life. i talked to the people thats installed it and they said to replace the 530t, ive done this3 times with new ones each time, i have lubed the windows, set the 530t dip switches to the highest setting. I though the wind was creating resistance for the window but i put my had on the window and forced it down when the window was rolling up, the motors are very strong and did not stop so i doubt the air is an issue. so the place that installed it has a lifetime warranty on the labor but i dont want to have to go back there for them to tell me they need to replace the 530t even thoug i did 3 times. so has anyone had this issue?

I have seen a similar issue on my car I have auto widow down in my car and if I only go part way Down the auto widow feature stops the 530t from going back up I need to go down then back up
It's the factory auto feature and the 530t fighting with each other not much I was able to do with it

so your saying when you press the auto down and then go up the 530t and factory switch fight each other? if that's that case then i would be able to use my passenger side window "which doesn't have a factory auto down switch" but it locks up too..

My left hand front (right hand drive car),   after a month it started to rise 2" then back down.  Doing the same on the one touch from either side,  you have to physically grab it.  I'm not sure whether it's the anti-trap on the car or the 530

Possible answer, check the 530t grounds make sure they are good, even check the voltage across power and ground to the unit. I was striping my car and and noticed my passenger side unit which was giving me grief had a loose grounding botl.
