I don't know if NavTV are an American company (think they might be Florida based) but they apear to be bringing out a stand alone R/S  i.e. operated via the factory fob for Mercedes. They announced it this month in a British trade paper.  Yes I must make the usual disclaimers etc about being associated with them,  I just thought it was interesting.

i Talked to them couple weeks ago its a plug and play unit and they are already selling the units.

howie you know way before they came out with it one of the guys here in Chicago (Midcity engineer http://www.midcityengineering.com/) had a pice on his car for quiet a long time just like the one that on Navtv so idk how things when down that nav tv claim to be the first one with the interface anyways away from the drama i know your going to love this pice i wish i could do as many MB BMW or any forging car similar to the one you do but am stuck with all american cars :( SUCKS lol
