replaced the deck in my 04 jetta... i used a replacement wiring harness i did not cut the existing one. now when you shut off the car you take the key out all the accessory power turns off.

problem is my new deck does not turn off lol. so anyone with this problem. any solutions? i dont really want to run wires throughout the car into the ignition switch hence why i bought the wiring harness.

any suggestions would help thanks

There is a difference in the VW and the Mercedes harness.  Constant and switched wires are reversed.  Did you connect both the radio's red and yellow wires to the yellow wire of the harness?   Or maybe both to the red wire if they sold you a Mercedes Harness.
