ok i already have a1 farad cap and i might be running another amp
now my question is i want to add another cap but i might get a 2 farad ,
the way im going to run it is coming from 4ga to the batt to a fused distro block. hook up the bat cable and 1cable to the 1 farad and 1 to the 2farad caps and then out the fused side to my 2 amps with 8ga
now is this ok to run it like that and to have to different sized caps, to give me 3 farads????
or do the caps have to be the same size??
please let me know thanks

alot easier take that four guaged wire from go to distrabution. take one fuse from that and connect it to the pos lead of first cap than from the first cap to the second caps pos lead and from the second cap to the possitive input on the sub amp.cause caps are made for more efficient bass they dont help highs and mids. but if you have more then one bass amp than just put both power wires going to amps on the second caps pos lead. and also you cna ground caps together or seperate but they both need ground. as well as the amps.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

So you are going to put each one on the line going from the fused distro block going to the amp? If so there is noting wrong with that. And it’s fine to have different sized caps going to different amps.  Just remember to mount it within 18 inches of the amp

well i was going to have the both caps going to the ins of the distro bloack where the battery cable is hooked is hooked up to. and itgoes out to 2 fuesed outputs and hook the aamps to there
so your saying its fine that way and i can hae 2 different caps
im not to sure if im getting 2 amps that are the same or 1 bigger amp
buteither way its geting 2 caps
so i guess il do it that way unless anyone else has any other ideas
