what's a good battery?

All the American made batteries today are made by 3 manufacturers, only 3 and then relabeled and sold under various different brand names but thet are all made by only 3 companies. East Penn, General battery, and I believe Exide. I believe Optima is made by none of these and is manufactured in either China or Taiwain and shipped here and the chemicals are added and they are sealed, labeled, ect.
