Hello,
I have installed a Viper 5901 (with tilt and ultrasonic sensors) in an 09 Corolla. The alarm
works great; no issues. I have not installed the remote start because I have never done a
remote starter install before!!!
I have made wiring plans for the H3 harness and need help confirming if I am on the right
track or not. My ignition switch harness has small 18 AWG wire!
*H3/2-(Polarity feed for Ignition 2/flex relay; Red-White)
*H3/6-(Polarity feed for Ignition 1 relay; Red)
*H3/9-(Polarity feed for accessory relay; Red-Black)
--- Connect above 3 to 12V (should it be battery 12V or ignition 12V with 18 AWG wire?)
*H3/1-(Ignition 1 Input/Output; Pink) --- Connect to ignition wire at ignition switch
*H3/3-(Accessory Output; Orange) --- Connect to accessory wire (my ACC wire at ignition switch is 18 AWG, but the H3/3 is 14 AWG wire! Should I connect or find another ACC 14 AWG wire to connect to?)
*H3/4-(Starter Output; Violet) ---Connect to starter side of starter kill wire
*H3/5-(Starter Input; Green) --- Connect to ignition switch side of starter kill wire
*H3/7-(Ignition 2 Relay Output; Pink-White) --- Connect to pin 87 of remote start relay
*H3/8-(87a of Ignition 2 Relay; Pink-Black) --- This wire confuses me; do I need to do ignition switch isolation for 09 Corolla? If I need it, then I plan to connect it to 87a of my remote starter relay
Thanks for reviewing this and all help will be greatly appreciated.
i am an idiot
