hooking up fog lights to my dash lights

Im trying to hook up some fog lights so that when i turn my dash lights on they will come on too, so i dont have to have them on a toggle switch. what i want to know is what wire im supposed to hook it up to? i can run it from my corner lights under the hood, cuz i had aftermarket gauges along time ago and thats what i did, but it was forever ago and i dont remember how to do it. so any input would be appreciated thanks!

I was going to tell you what color the wire is on the light switch, but you will have to tell us what kind of car you are driving.

Yes...Defitnely use a relay ...Have seen several cars that ppl just hooked up to the parking light wire...The very next question is"Whats that smell".

or you could use this, still use the relay though.
