We need more info.  Are you needing ideas because you can not figure out how to make them fit?  If you are asking what sounds better, we will need to know what kind of music you listen to.

If you're listening to to alternative or metal, you've got the wrong size speakers. 10" speakers in sealed enclosures would be a little bit more up your alley. The 3g Eclipse is easy to make lots of volume without tons of power. The interior  is also relativley easy to shape enclosures around. My thoughts would be to do 2 drivers between the rear strut towers, and one in each corner, all glassed in. Amps mounted in a rack in the spare tire rack with plexi windows would look pretty sick. Just my $0.02

If you say so. And it's perfectly possible to do 4 12" speakers in a 3g. All it takes is a little creativity and a little $$$

And realistically more useable space than he's got!
