I have a customer with the new body style Escalade who had his non nav factory radio replaced with a factory nav unit awhile back. His lease is up and is getting another 07 escalade, he wants me to put the nav in the new escalade and I was just wondering if this is a pretty straight forward swap ? I was just looking for a heads up before it came in. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It will be theftlocked. It will work but you will have to take it to a dealer to have them connect a TECH2 to the truck and release the lock. You may also need to add a VSS wire whcih you can get under the drivers dash. Don't forget about the GPS antenna, which will be located under the cowl where the dash meets the windshield, this pops out...

Thanks Mike. The install was pretty simple . It did have to go to the dealer to have the theftlock  released, but other than that it was pretty straight forward . Thanks again for the info.
