When i use the calculator on the site i get a length of 26in for port length.  I am using the specs for a two speaker box i plan to make. It will be a slot port design.  The question i need to know is whether both speakers get 26in of port or if they get 13in a piece.  I really appreciate the help and sry if this questioned has been answered before.

The port length is for the enclosure.  If the calculator told you 26 inches, then it's based on whatever you put in as the tuning frequency, the size of the enclosure and the opening of the port.  Two ports @ 13 inches does not equal one port at 26 inches.  It does not work that way.  :)

oh i understand. Now i see why so many dual boxes have ports only on one side.  How would you determine the length needed for a box with a center port besides using a divider to separate the two chambers and individually calculating the enclosure as two separate units? Thanks for the help

That's how you do it if it's two seperate chambers.
