Am trying to install an Impulse Res Remote starter on a 98 Chevy Z-28 can not find the correct wires that get a signal when pushing the OEM keyless entry buttons please help   Thanks Note found the orange black wires behind the glove box but these have constant Negetive ?????

The lock switch wire is RED / black, the unlock switch wire is ORANGE / black. Both can be caught behind the glovebox or at the door harness.
Neat toy to wire up and show off to your friends. When you want to start your car, just press the lock switch on the door a couple times in sucession, and then insert your keys into the ignition and drive off.

Thanks But what i am looking for are the wires that go to the lock motors , so i can use the hand held OEM remotes Do they change colors going back out to the doors ???

The door actuator relay lock output wire is grey in color. It rests at ground and pulses to +12V.

(Great) found the gray wire ,just wondering now if the ground at rest will have any effect on the positive start initiate input of the impulse starter ???

No it shouldn't unless it is a strangely designed or poor quality remote start. Most will ignore something like this because most circuits in cars will have a potential to something at rest. In other words, it should work like a champ Add Remote start to OEM Keyless Entry - Last Post -- posted image..
