Hey i just put in a new radio in a lexus gs300. metra doesnt have a harness for it so it was straight wired to the speakers. The problem is there are 50+ wires going to the power antenna and none match up behind the radio from what i can tell. Does anyone know the wire or wires that trigger the power antenna? Its the premium sound but not the nagamaki (i know i spelled it wrong) i have worked on two and never had any luck with this part of the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

When you work on the next one, before you cut the plug, using a meter try and find a wire that has 12 volts on it when the radio is turned on and goes to 0 volts when the radio is turned off.  The year of the vehicle would help out a lot.

How many wires do you have left behind the radio?   Is there a plug on the power antenna that you can unplug easily?

its a 1993 model car. There are 2 plugs behind the radio with about 15 wires a piece. I only used 2 wires off one of the harnesses for power and acessory. The antenna itself has 3 plugs with around 20 wires a piece. I tried the trigger wire codes from other lexus models both behind the radio and at the antenna but none of those wires work.
