just for grins, have you tried hooking up a different sub(s)? or just one of 'em?
its either (a) a prob in the subs or sub wiring or (b) the signal that "seems" to be good, really isn't.
heck, you may even try changing your rca cables...though that's a stretch. but, i have seen defective rca's, even though they usually just don't work at all or have some sort of short in 'em.
i'd say the above a and b options are more likely.

i haven't tried hooking up just one sub yet. they are wired inside the box and i sealed my subs to the box with loctite construction adhesive. i'll borrow a sub and see but, im thinking its the deck itself. its very likely that the amp fedback to the deck somehow. sure was funny hitting 146db at car toys with a 360a2 though. dude looked under my seats and in the spare tire well thinking i had a cheater amp hidden.
i say stupid stuff all the time, this is nothing new.

yeah, i'd probably be looking for the same thing. thats pretty amazing!
when ya borrow the sub, lemme know how it works out, and, before replacing the deck either have the signal tested so you can eliminate the word "seems" like its working and move on to it is or isn't working. don't forget to try new rca's if the signal isn't good!
lemme know what you find out
