08 tundra headlight wire

Good evening all, Just installed an audiovox remote start on my tundra. Still working on the door switches, any help would be appreciated with that also.. My problem is with the headlights coming on at arm/disarm. I found the white wire at the switch, negative pulse turns them on, only when the stalk is set to off. if the parking lights are on, a negative pulse doesnt work. Is there another place to give the headlights a neg or pos pulse? thanks in advance ToDDR

Are you attempting to trigger your headlights while the truck is remote started?

Im trying to give the headlight circuit a 30 second neg pulse to make an illuminated entry on arm/disarm. the white wire wont take a neg pulse when the switch is set to headlights or parking lights. I think the toyota auto headlight circuit has something to do with it? Im thinking there may be another place to give the hdlts a pos or neg pulse??! im just kinda lost. regards

i own mostly toyotas and it has auto turn off when when door open. if you turn it to off, the circuit turn back to normal. you got two choices: 1. turn off the switch 2. leave switch on and interrupt the white wire and then pulse it again w/ negative. just a thot. not sure if it works. if all else failed, just run two wires straight to the bulbs. ------------------------ for door trigger, try the light under the dash/steering and override the door warning if there's a delay. i just finished doing one of these bad boys, very interesting how they used the smallest gauge wires on these trucks, I used the green wire on one of the main connectors at the white box(fusebox) for the lights, hope that helps.. as for the door triggers i went to the individual door triggers and diode isolate them, you could grab the orange wire on the underdash light but you get a delay,
