I have 2 12" subs 4ohm dual voice coils. when i hook the subs up one plays fine the other makes a noise but no sound it sounds like distortion but thats all that comes out. when I used the dmm on the one that works fine the reading wasa 4 on both coils, on the other one one coil reads 4 and the other reads 1. is this repairable or should i just trow it away.

If the trunk dont rattle then its not loud.

If it's to loud then you're to old.

they are audiobahn aw1251t they are pretty old had them laying around the garage and was going to give them to my brother

They are trash. Have been since they were new. voice coils good or bad -- posted image.

Seriously? Sell them on FleaBay (with full disclosure that one of them seems to have a blown voice coil.)

thats funny.... does it sound like a blown voice coil?
