where do i connect the red wire to?

i have a Metra GMRC-01 adaptor . on my car stereo, where do i connect the red wire to on the metra adaptor?

It connects to the red wire of the aftermarket radio.  Your vehicle has no accessory wire.  The harness provides it.

red wire on the car stereo? is accessory? nevermind, i just connected both the red n yellow wire of the car stereo to the yellow on the metra. thanx

That will turn the stereo on but it won't turn on and off with the car.
The yellow wire is constant which means it is always getting power. The red wire only gets power when the your turn the key in the ignition. That is what makes it turn on with the car. If you connect the red to the constant your stereo will always be on and not turn off.

when did u figure that out? "since ever since" guy! seriously though thats how i wire my car stereos now so i dont have to use the key.
