Hi, i am new to car audio and I would appreciate any info you may have for me. The ride- 06 dodge ram reg cab. Right now it has JVC door speakers 6x9s and JVC rear speakers 5.25s, it also has a Memphis PR 12 in a sealed truck box and a Tunn 800 watt 4 channel amp

I am getting another 12 and a pioneer hu, and i was wondering which box would be better; a box that was front firing, down firing or up firing.

here are some pics of a down firing box

and heres one of the front firing

also if i choose up firing will it make any difference if one of the subs is backwards

Thanks, Ryan S

I built my own sub box front firing for my dodge reg cab,i mounted it high enough up on the rear wall that I still get use out of the factory tray. You can check my box out on this site in the rides and systems gallery 2003 ram reg.cab.it lbs!!!!
