1987 monte carlo aerocoupe - Last Post -- posted image.
sorry im a couple 1000miles away from home so i dont have any better pics.
but i have 2 15's right now i just removed the back seat. sounds good and all but thats not how I do stuff. has to be clean. for you that dont know its the same as a monte SS but its the aerocoupe model that they raced in nascar back in the 80's. it has a long back window style similar to the camaros but the back glass is stationary. other than removing the back glass and dropping the box in, im stuck.
i thought about building a fiberglass box "inside" the trunk. on the inside its huge, bigger than a regular monte which has room all day long. it has the little hump that goes down to the trunk pan just like the regular montes also.
i wanted to see if any of you have ever seen an aerocoupe with a 15 box before or see what all suggestions you guys have because im in the process of making it full show and need to do something nice with it.

Being that you only have a mail slot trunk opening, you won't be able to get anything practical for most 15"s in there without having to pop the window. An in-the-trunk assembly could work but that is a fairly complex build unless you are well versed in close quarters fabrication and assembly. the only other option is to cut the cross bracing on the inside behind the seat and reweld/bracket them back in place one the box(es) are in.
