I bought a pair of
Pioneer Premiers (650 RMS each )
I got an amp with them but I haven't a clue how many watts its putting out.
Can a person test the amp some how with a multimeter?
It says on the amp the model number A275HC. The brand is audiobahn.

I've looked online a ton but still haven't found a very definite answer.   The subs are hooked up to create a 1 ohm load.   They sound ok but I'm just wondering how I could figure this out.
Thanks a ton,
Mark

some amps have their specs on the inside covers of there amps. others dont and audiobahn is out of bizz so lack of online info may be the reason for this.
OWWWWWWWWWWW you said you discharged the cap!

Yeah I was sad to see that they didn't even have a website that I could look any specs up on :/
I'm not sure how I would take the cover off. I'll try that though. Any info would be helpful.
So I take it there isn't anyway to check to see how many watts the amp is putting out?

!!! Wow Thanks a ton Tommy!!! Where on earth did you find those specs???!?
I'm thinking I should get a different amp for my subs...?
I was trying ti figure out how to measure the watts it was putting out earlier today with a volt meter using some equations but had no success.
I definitely need to readjust my gain, etc.

The model # of the subs are: TSW2000SPL
Here's a link to a review of them: Caraudiomag.com review
I bought them from a guy who had them in 1cf each box sealed.   I'm currently waiting on a new box to be delivered to me in a few days thats 1.5cf each chamber, sealed, and carpeted :)
I'm looking to push around 600RMS or a little less to each sub.
I also have a 475a - Infinity 4 Channel Full-Range Amplifier
It's not the best amp in the world ( the s/n is like 86db) but it works. I'm pushing a set of infinity kappa perfects 6.1 and a set of infinity kappa perfect 6 x 9s with it.
My main concern if I get a bigger amp for my subs is that I'm going to need to get a new alternator. Well that and the fact that I'll have to replace my 4guage power with 0/1
