ok i got the relay setup correct, that part works fine, but i would like the circuit to go off after  leave the car, do you guys think a push button on-off switch in the door jamb would work,i want it like my 95 deville where it stays on till you open the door but stays off after it is open. my car is an 83 cutlass surpreme. dont bite my head off if i didnt ask the question 100% correct

Shouldn't the subject be, Radio on until door closes?      Did you use the diagram with 2 or 3 relays?

That's a pretty standard setup for retained accessory power; power stays on after the ignition is turned off, and turns off when the door is opened to exit.

He wants it to stay on until he closes the door.  I have thought about it  but have come up with nothing.

Could use a bit of punctuation, but it sounds like he wants the radio on 'till he OPENS the door. Why would anyone want it on after opening it? The door would have to be open to listen to the radio?
Is that the idea you were looking for? Shut car off, radio playing, open door, legs hanging out, radio still playing. Exit car, close the door, and radio then turns off?
