to get to the point..:) Custom stereo 2 Orion hcca 5000.1.- (210hcca woofers, 1 -12 inch. 2 kinetik 2400 batteries in the trunk. 3 1 farad capacitors- battery isolator/charger, kinetik 1800 battery under hood. 190 amp ho alternator. the problem i have had is with the alternator. I have done everything to hope to manage a high output system. the alternator is running a 0 gauge to the battery, the voltage will not hold @ 14. idles @ 12.5 and jumps as soon as I accelerate it will go about 13.5 , untill this alternator blew. I have another one on the way and requested a smaller pulley. hoping to gain a higher voltage at low rpm. Issue is low rpm low voltage:( please help ive tried everything.

depending on how the alternator was designed many of the "high output" alternators are actually lower output at idle and only make big power at higher RPMS. The better ones will make higher output throughout there operating range.

By my calculations just the two sub amps running at full power at 100%  efficiency and at 14 volts are going to pull over 700 amps. Thats not including anything else in your car, just those two amps. Your 190 amp alternator is not gonna cut it.  Need multiple 300 amp alts to produce that kinda power.
