Is it normal for the siren on my Nustart NUS-4502 to chirp once before remote starting, twice after remote start is successful, and then twice again if I shut off remote start with the remote? It's got a Compustar 5200 brain, flashed with the latest 7.1 firmware. I have it wired with the soft-alarm (monitors triggers, but no sensors).

Yes it is. That's why I turned the chirps off on my system because of the annoyance. It is buttons one and two or one and three (can't remember which) for 1/2 a second.

I have also turned off the chirps on my system by putting the system in silent mode. I have a 2-way remote that beeps when I push the buttons. That's all the notification I need.

There is no way to turn off just the confirmation chirps.

ok cool. Didn't know all those chirps were normal. I'll put mine in silent mode too I guess.
