I would like to make some custom controls for my DVD player to be mounted to the back of the center console.  It seems that there should be something like the PAC SWI-X that I could use to make custom buttons that just send the signal like the remote control.  Any one know where to get something like this or how to use the SWI-X in this way?

Anyone have any ideas or experience on this.  According to PAC you can use it for customcontrols but where can I get the buttons and how do I power them?  How do I make each button send a different voltage so the PAC can tell the difference?

all i can find are switches...I am looking for buttons so it will look more built in.  Maybe I could by the part from a car that has rear seat controls and just adapt it to do what I want, anyone know where i could find this?
