when i turn my head unit on my woofers start bumping,even when the volume is on 1. i have changed the rca wires,ground and remote wires. what else could be the problem? thanks

There should be a knob on the amp labeled either Gain or Sensitivity.  Have you tried turning that knob all the way CounterClockWise?    Does it also have horrible engine noise?  Is it a Pioneer radio?

no engine noise,and its an  kenwood radio.turned the amp all the way down and the bumping goes away.
