Have you checked to see if the subs are still good?  Grab your DMM and meter the subs...also check your RCA's. make sure they are still sending the signal to the amp.

yeah the subs are still good we checked them. i didnt put a dmm on it yet but he lives 45 min away so thats kinda a drive to just do that. ill have him check the entire rca and make sure it didnt get punched or cut somewhere. thanks a lot for your help man.

how did you check the subs to make sure they were still good.  you could get a cheap DMM from autozone for about 5 or 10 bucks.  it's a good tool to have and i recommend getting one for future reference....also you can use it to double check voltage on your power connections.

i tested them both seperatley and wired together on my amp and they worked fine. i heard he might have blown the output channel on his amp...he also doesnt have a warranty would it be worth paying hifonics to fix it?

DId you use a volt meter to make sure you were getting voltage to the power and remote wires?   When checking this, place the black meter lead to the ground terminal of the amplifier.   Is there an AGU type fuse any where in the path of the power wire?  If you have no meter, and you do have an AGU fuse, replace it.

Some amplifiers will light up with only ground and power on the remote wire.  I do not remember any HiFonics amps that acted this way.  I have never worked on a Sampson.  This may be the case with that particular amplifier.
