93 deville radio options with bose

I found a 93 deville 87k and I'm like nice. I'm doing A a radio swap the car has the anti theft and I know some caddies radios are wired to the security and I'm going to loose my chimes and bells. I know I have to remove the radio and relocate it in the trunk any special harness and I was told if I cut the wires I can screw it up . Chances is when I put the new radio in I'm not going to use the factory harness soif the radio is plugged to the alarm will unplugging the speakers affect it help1993 sdv

Not sure you were informed correctly. For this model year, there should be no chimes to deal with, but you may have to run wiring to the tuner/amp in the trunk on the passenger side. I don't believe a radio relocation is needed. Take a picture of the radio and post it so I can help you out. If my memory serves correctly, there is not much to these vehicles. Cadillac didn't start the Class II data connection at the radio until 1996. Let us know...Big Al

Ok thanks for the info . As for the amp wires and speaker wire the battery is on the passengers side so I was going to run the amp wire there and my signal wires on the opposite side. As for the wiring of the radio I did it in my 86 but it had no bose but I rewired all the speakers I didn't use factory wiring.1993 sdv
