I have maybe 300 watts going to a single 10w6, is this enough?  I know max rms is 600 watts.  I believe it would sound a little better with a little more power.  Just trying to get some opinions.  It does pretty good, but the low notes could be better.  The box is the exact size it calls for.  Thanks.

There is no substitute for adequate power.  Not having enough power will hurt nothing.  Will it sound better with adequate power?   Yes it will.

I would use a JL 500/1.
