I want to spend about $800 to throw a sub/amp in my 98 accord. I already have 5ga wiring in the car and an old pioneer DEH-P9300 head unit.

I listen to metal (meshuggah, underoath, marilyn manson), techno (drum and bass really: Dieselboy, AK1200) and some rap.

I would be willing to upgrade the battery, but i'd like to stay away from upgrading the alternator on a car with 150k+ miles.

lots of trunk space!

What would you do in this situation?

A friend of mine has two fosgate p1's with a punch 500 amp. It sounds really good in his 626. He listens to all types of music and it sounds good with each of em...
