I just purchased the viper5901 remote start, security unit and am wanting to put it in my 05 F-150. I have read the manual and it states how to put the unit in remote start mode for manual transmissions. My question is, how do you bypass the clutch switch or does the unit magically do it for you. nowhere in the manual does it state anything about bypassing it. Any help would be awesome!

Locate the starter wire from the ignition switch. Instead of cutting this wire between the ignition switch and the starter for an auto tranny you must cut it between the clutch pedal and the starter. There will be a switch mounted to the clutch pedal that will have this starter wire running into and out of it.

At the clutch switch find a RED / green. This needs a negative start signal to bypass the clutch.
