2010 kia forte, alarm/remote start

Hello, i'm picking up a 2010 kia forte next week and would like to install a remote start / alarm in it for the g/f befor winter gets here. i'm looking for the wiring info needed to do this car. it's a auto, 4 door, and it's the EX model. i would like to power the door locks,  rear defrost, and power trunk release.  thanks in advanceTri County KustomZ

Hi,

I need some help with wiring my Kia forte 1.6EX with Viper 5701.

How do i wire my parking lights? From the wiring diagram of the viper, it should be connecting it to the white wire at H1. How do i connect the parking lights (with L and R wires) to this white wire? Do i just isolate the 2 wires with diodes and connect them together?

I purchased a wiring diagram from www.wirewerx.com. It stated that there is a "All Hazard Lights"  wire (which is green and -ve trigger). Which should I be using? Are they refering to the same lights?

They are a negative wire at column switch I think is a pink one. You don't need to isolate then.

Sorry I've made a mistake on my last post... is a ORANGE one not pink... sorry!

Genexis wire to the Hazards, only North America uses side lights, the rest of the world uses amber indicators front and rear (and front side in Europe).
