adding strobes to alarm?

 hey there.  I want to hook up a strobe light so that it will go off when my alarm is tripped .  I am using a rattler 300.  How can I do this??/ Thanx

Just hook them up to your light flash output on your alarm. May need a relay.

 Anthony, i'd say go to the relay section here. Look under the special applications at the "connecting additional devices to remote turn on lead" diagram. Tie the siren output wire to the Remote turn on lead side (terminal#86), and connect the power or trigger wire from the strobes to the Fan 1 side (terminal#30). That should do it. You could also hook them up as Devil Boy said using the light flash instead of the siren wire. Either way, you may have problems with the strobes coming on when your parking lights are on, or you arm/disarm your alarm. The ideal setup is an alarm with an alarming output. Hope that helps!

you will have to go to your siren output....
and yes use a relay.. the ligh flash output may not hold 12v long enough to power the strobes. i put hide-away strobes in used the siren output with a relay.........
