xk01 and viper 5900 problems

I have been on the phone with xpresskit for 2 hours yesterday and I still have the problem of the XK01 and 1700G1 trying to program to my 2004 AV base model. I do have have a aftermarket system. I am upgrading from the GMDL-BP base the XK-01 have the window option. But I will follow the instruction with turn the vehicle to the on postion then program it to platform 4, then hold it to it flash once then I will start the truck but soon as I give it a negative pulse on the lock(green) or unlock (blue) wire will go solid and stay that way. But I can go back to the GMDL-BP and it will work fine. I also I the Xkloader and loaded the 1700g1 and XK01 with platform AMDL 6.00. Customer service also send me the older version and a new version 6.03. But the 6.03 locks up the module. But is there anyone else with this problem dealing with XK01 or just me. It also being hook up to the Viper 5900 that has been install with the GMDL-BPfred claridy

yeah theyre garbage, i had the same problem. use the gmdlp the manual states that you gotta change the platform, its b s ive done about six of these units and i have done it this way after the first one i had a hell of a prob with, when you power it up refer to the lock unlock program section on the manual hit the lock button till it goes to the default mode, as soon as you do this it will go into the platform mode if you need one push once and so on and so on as soon as it flashes the equal amount of times that refers to your platform turn the vechicle on start it then turn it off after the led turns off. try it that way i ve done 6 units they work way better than the crappy xko1installers do it best. we got the magic hands!
