im trying to install a 4 window roll up on my 1997 expedition and i dont know where 3 of the wires go. i already wired all 4 windows but i dont know where these wires go.

purple + positive activation input

orange - negative activation input

yellow ignition input

also there is a green loop wire that says UNCUT: unit accepts a momentary pulse to activate

CUT: unit accepts a constant output to active

if anyone can help please i have the truck apart now as we speak.

The yellow wire needs to be connected to a switched 12vdc source (hot when ignition is on).

The purple and orange are the wires that "trigger" the module to work.  Depending on how you install it will dictate how you hook those wires up.  Typically, you would hook the "purple" wire to the door lock motor wire (12vdc when locking).  You would then leave the green wire "uncut" so that a momentary pulse will make the windows go all the way up.

You didn't mention what alarm you had but you can use the GWA wire and connect it to the orange wire of the unit, you could also use your lock negative trigger and connect to the orange wire!

With that particular unit i encountered a problem once with the ignition backfeeding from the yellow wire of the window roll unit to the GWA wire of the alarm, I had a heck of a time figuring it out, LOL, since then, whenever i use these units i never connect the ignition input!
