Hi all,
the stock Bose system in my car is 2 ohm
I plan to tap the signal going into the crappy factory sub and wire it into the line level input of my Scosche SA3002 2 channel amplifier (it's what I currently have from my old car)
specs of amp can be found here: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~erik0023/AudioEquipment/Scosche/SA3002.htm
but the specs on Amazon only say it's 4ohm
http://www.amazon.com/Scosche-Hyperdrive-SA3002-channel-amplifier/dp/B00065LHFG
Would it work?? I plan to use it bridge momo for my bazooka tube
that should mean my output to the bazooka is also 2ohm, yes?
(no sure if 2ohm into a 4ohm amp would fry it)
thanks

If the amp will run 4 ohm mono, it will be fine into a 2 ohm stereo load.  It will do 80 per channel into a 4 ohm load.  And 110 a channel into a 2 ohm stereo load.

well I plan to run the amp bridged with a single speaker bazooka tube
So it will be 4 ohm.
I guess I can use a line converter to convert it to RCA first
---> 2ohm speaker signal ---> line converter --> RCA wire to AMP--->
I'm hoping this would provide a buffer zone to avoid the 2ohm into 4ohm amp issue
lemme know if you think I'm being paranoid.
I'm not sure how amps with line level inputs deal with different ohms
thanks
