2005 chevy silverado, cruise control

I did many cruise control on these 03 to 05 Chevs & GMC but today I couldn't make this one work. I installed the GM #12450067 switch and the 4 wire harness between the switch and the junction block, road tested as usual, nothing, no signal, the indicator light did not came on in the cluster. I tried another switch, same result.

I told the customer I will get more info and will call him back. I completely forgot to check the fuse in the fuse panel could it be only that or could it be something else that someone else had the same problem?
