After a lot of stress I have successfully installed a Prostart CT-3460 TW and DEI PLJX in a standard ION. I think this is a Canadian Tire only starter. No power door locks. I figured I would post here and save someone the frustration i had. These are all the wires I used.
CT-3460 6pin
Yellow - IGN - PLJX Pink Ign and Car Blue wire at IGN
Red x2 - Battery - Car Large Red Wire on power steering under steering wheel
Orange - ACC - Car Brown wire at car ignition key
Purple - Starter - PLJX Voilet Start
Green - Clutch - Car Yellow wire on clutch, 5th relay jumper to run
CT-3460 5pin
Black - Gnd - Car Gnd to the chassis with a tech screw
Purple - Tach - Car White tach wire on engine
Grey   - Hood - Hood pin switch, find a good spot by the front
Orange - Brake - Car Lt-Blue wire on the foot brake switch
Yellow - PLites - Car Brown wire on light switch
CT-3460 12pin
Grey   - Door - Car Lt Green drivers kick panel
White - GWR - PLJX Brown Ground when running after programming
Orange - Pbrk - Car Lt Blue Park brake switch
PLJX
Brown - GWR - CT-3460 12pin White after programming
Blue   - Data - Car White wire at Ign cut to BCM
Voilet - Start - CT-3460 6pin Purple
PnkWht - Data - Car White wire at Ign cut to Key
Pink   - IGN - CT-3460 6Pin Yellow and Blue at car IGN
Red    - Bat - Car Constant 12 volt
Black - Gnd - Car Chassis ground
Only one wire is cut at the Ign key all the rest are soldered and then wrapped with tape and then tywrapped. Make sure the PLJX is jumper to ION. I had some trouble with the PLJX, make sure you don't connect the brown wire until you have the unit programmed. Program the remote start to the remote and then program the tach sense and you should be ready to go. I got the car diagram here and the others came with diagrams. It is running now, but if anyone on here see's something i did wrong please tell me. If you have any questions reply. Have a good one hope it works for you.

My apology, I though ct-3460 is for automatic transmission, actually it is designed for manual transmission. good job davie

Moonliter hmm interesting that you say that, says right on the box that its a manual start system. Plus the fact that it has a ready mode, clutch bypass and park brake system. I might be wrong but your welcome to look at the install instructions on prostarts site.
