i installed a pioneer headunit and a kicker 200.4  and kicker speakers. customer claims that radio works fine in the morning but after work when the heat picks up audio cuts out. head unit with display and seem as if its playing through but no sound. trouble is ive been playing unit for 45 mins and works great. all connections been doubled checked and are all solid. has anyone ever ran into something like this

It's very possible to have a heat-related issue in amps, head units or speakers.  Do you have a heat gun (or a hair dryer)?  Try a little judicious application of heat and see if you can induce the problem. Also, make sure the speaker level outputs from the HU are completely insulated as the HU will go into protection and turn off all outputs if they are shorting out.
