make a sedan sound like a hatchback?

hey everyone. I just got a sedan after owning 2 hatchbacks. I realized immediately that the sound in a sedan sounds insanely muffled, and it kind of bothers me that im not getting the fullest out of my equipment. Is there anything i can do to help this, if not get it up to par? Thanks

I wanted to build a box that sits in the trunk, and fires at the back window into the cabin. I just didnt really know where to start, and research since these things are hard to find. I would take my seat out, but there is metal between the trunk and back seat. Its not designed to be folded forward, etc. Does anybody know where i could start researching boxes like this?

How would running flare ports to the rear deck work? Like cutting holes in the rear deck, then running the ports up to them? How would that sound?

you could search junk-yards for a fold down back seat and modify it to fit your car. I did this with a 73 Duster.Dustin Rockney
