I cannot find any info on this mirror, I tried emailing the mito corporation after being told to do so by the guys at gentex. the only info they could give me is that it might be a 50-GENK30. the only thing is that the 50-GENK30 looks like it has 2 lines of text/digits in the lcd display and the one that I have only has one line.

One I have:

what model gentex mirror is this? - Last Post -- posted image.

photo is a little dark. I know that it has the auto dimming feature, compas, and led map lights. it also have auto reverse dimming cancel and the ability to make the lights come on with the door. I just want to know if this modle is capable of reading the temperature.

Thanks, Jonathan

For the mirror to have temperature capability it needs to have a square window not the rectangular your window mirror has.

Gentex has used the same vfd display for years they used to use it for the temperature readings until they came out with the dual display in about 99 or 2000. The same thing applies to the homelink mirrors.
